The Official BBC Top Gear Live Podcast

Between 2007 and 2013, Wayne Scott presented, wrote and produced the Official BBC Top Gear Live podcast.
Top Gear Live famously combined a motor show, an indoor race track hosted by Tiff Needell, John Hindehaugh and Vicky Butler-Henderson with the theatre show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
Through it's six annual series', the podcast was released via the Top Gear Live website, weekly newsletters and iTunes every fortnight in the run-up to the show. It showcased across 8 episodes and included behind-the-scenes info, celebrity interviews, manufacturer news and prize giveaways to build buzz and promote ticket sales ahead of the live event.
The podcast attracted over a million downloads and gave Wayne Scott the opportunity to interview some of the biggest names in the motor industry and motor racing including Ben Collins (Stig), stunt driver Paul Swift, Derek Bell MBE, Sebastian Vettel, Carl Fogarty, Sabine Schmitz, John Hindehaugh, Top Gear TV presenters, Tiff Needell and celebrities like Shane Lynch, Amy Williams MBE and Chef James Martin. Wayne combined on location recording with telephone interviews to capture the content.
Each year the quality of the content and traffic it received earned it a featured spot on the iTunes Music Store throughout the series duration, offering "money can't buy" exposure for the show. The podcast makes a noticeable and measurable impact on ticket sales for the show.
